The Nautical Club of Paros offers short sailing courses for children and adults.

The idea of Paros Nautical Club Dinghy Sailing School was created by the people of the Board of Committee. It is operated by the club’s licensed and experienced coaches. Paros Nautical Club aims to provide increased access to the sport of sailing regardless on an individual’s age, gender, physical ability or economic status.

Paros NC-DSS operates at some of the best sailing venues in the world and hire the most qualified instructional and coaching staff, who use the best sailboats and equipment. As a matter of fact, Paros Nautical Club make it a point to provide DSS with new sailboats frequently. Paros NC-DSS offers sailing courses for all age groups and skill levels, from young children to senior citizens, and from beginners to sailors racing on international circuits.

SUMMER CAMP

This year, the Nautical Paros Group for the first time organizes summer camp for those wishing to
gain their child to new experiences in sports, to work with painting, crafts, construction, etc.

Through a comprehensive sports and cultural activities program one two or more weeks you can give the opportunity for your child to develop abilities
and skills that will be useful for the future. Boys and girls aged 7-12 years creatively utilize their free time, they train their body and cultivate the personality inside the acquaintance of sports (sailing, swimming, beach volley) and creative activities and participate in group activities that enhance confidence.

The Camp will run from Monday to Saturday 09.15 to 16.45

Instructors of the short-term sailing courses are the same ones that train Paros Nautical Club's athletes. All our instructors have many years of experience in championing, with awards on National & International level and with certified coaching proficiency.

OUR METHODOLOGY

During a typical course students begin by getting to know the boat; they are then taught basic safety rules, theory on basic sailing rules and practical boat preparation. After that, they make their first sailing steps into the sea and gradually pass from theory to action.

PAROS NAUTICAL CLUB IS WELL RECOGNISED AS ONE OF THE MOST PROPER TRAINING VENUE FOR SAILING TEAMS AND INDIVIDUAL SAILORS

Paros Nautical Club is based in Livadia beach in Parikia of Paros and is recognized as one of the most proper training venue for sailing teams and individual sailors. The facility was designed and built for sailing. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the regular winds blowing on almost always from north directions. Paros Nautical Club is situated perfectly for all water sports enthusiasts. With nearby accommodation, a restaurant, changing rooms, a drying room and classrooms our facility has everything necessary to accommodate everyone from a private individual to a large school group.
